I was scanning through the usual ladders and Black and Decker tools on Craigslist and found this Supermax 37"X2 dual drum sander for sale. I bit bigger than what I was looking for at 5 HP, but it is in near perfect condition. I offered the guy $1000 which I didn't think he'd take, but he did. Is this "gloatworthy?"

Definitely! Good score. It is very helpful to have 2 drums on a sander like that. Take time to make sure it is set up well for your 2 most common grits.

I recently picked up a used Delta 18-36 single drum sander for $500. It wasn't exactly what I wanted (I want a Performax 22-44) but it should suffice.
