Hello,
this is my first attempt in the blog, so please go easy. I am trying to cut through 1/4 baltic birch ply and I feel that this laser should be able to do it. By default the laser will not let me set it to 100% power or a speed slower that 10% is this right?
Laser is a 35 watt Universal 2 years old and the object is a line vector. thks for the help.

Tom,

I am not sure why you should be able to go down to 0.1% speed. and 100% power.

What graphics program are you using? What version of driver do you have?

Tom,

The driver version is under the ENGRAVING FIELD tab then click on version. when you are changing the speed once you get down to 10% you must click on the arrow in order to go into the lower speeds.

You should use 100% power and 1.5 speed 250 PPI this should be close once you test it then start bringing the speed up until you get to the point where it is just cutting through.

Also check to see if your color management is off in corel.
