I think I've determined, with the help of this forum, that the rotary attachment on my Epilog Mini wont handle the diameter of the glassware that I want to engrave so I am considering a small sandblast system. Can someone tell me the approximate time it would take to blast a 3" X 4" logo on a bottle? Also, is it as simple as lasering the stencil and adhering it to the bottle before blasting? As you can see, I have never even witnessed a sand blast operation.
Thanks

Bob,
It wouldn't take much more than a minute or two to frost the glass. If you want any depth then it will take longer, depending on how deep you want to go.

There are many ways to create a mask for sandcarving - laserable mask and photo resist are two of the more common. You can also use a vinyl plotter if you don't have a lot of small detail. Mostly it depends on your needs and how much of it you do. I have all three options available to me and use them all at different times.
