I posted a question last week about pricing some wood offered locally. It was a couple of 2x2x24 Rosewood and Lacewood turning blanks, some Mahogany and a bunch of chunks of redwood burl.

Well he finally came up with a price and I took a look and thought it was fair. So, while not a "free wood gloat", I think I ended up with some good stock for furture work for $60.

Here it is:

There are at least 5 good burl chunks for turning, plus lots for inlay, pens and flat work. The mahogany is pretty ordinary looking packaged "hobby" wood. The Rosewood and Lacewood will make good candlesticks, eggs. pens, etc.

Any and al comments are welcome!
