I inherited a Black and Decker model 7616 router a while ago. I'm guessing they were sold somewhere in the mid/late 1970's. Nothing special, but I can put it to work and it has sentimental value.

I'd like to buy some accessories -- maybe an edge guide, for example -- to go with it, but due to its age, I'm thinking it would be hard to find any of the original parts that would have been sold along with it. From what I observe, it is nearly identical visually to the DeWalt 610/612. Anybody happen to know anything about this router and whether my suspicion that any accessories for the DeWalt routers will work with this one?

Thanks in advance,

Does x-talk with the 610, however, the 610 collet system is not the same.
You have a 1/4" tool and that is ~ right for its HP (1).
Expect most 610 accessories to work on the 7616, tho there aren't many.
