Small Splay leg table Butternut/Ash

Hello All,
Just thought I would post some pics of a quick project, I made this little table as a wedding gift for a friend of my wifes. It is a Garrett Hack design, the legs are made of ash, the stretchers and top are Butternut..Also the bead is ash, thought it came out ok..The finish is BLO with padded super blonde Shellac..Comments always welcome.

I totally disagree. It came out way way better than just an OK. I am not familiar with the designer but I am also prejudice toward simplified designs.
The table is light and graceful. Great choice in woods.
Fantastic gift. Did you sign it in an inconspicuous place?
