Epilog Rotary Question

Can anyone tell me the maximum diameter of a glass that can be engraved using the Rotary Attachment on an Epilog Mini 18?

Got to be honest I don't know with the mini, I'm suprised there is nothing mentioned in the manual for it. On the Helix the diameter is huge. I think you should just experiment, but it will be determined by how deep your tray will drop, in the helix it's about 11" at the deepest point

Be aware that I have a home made rotary but as far as doing wine glasses it is much like the factory model.

I have a Mini-18 and I can do a 3.5 inch dia wine glass with maybe 0.25 inches left over.

My rotary tool sits a little higher than the factory so your max dia for a wine glass is somewhere between 3.5 and about 4 inches.

I have done items up to 8" dia in our EXT. If you have the height in the machine you should be ale to engrave any size glass you want.

Height within the machine is the problem/restriction. The Mini is only about 6 or 8 inches deep and the rotary uses up some of that space leaving only about 4 inches for something like a wine glass.

On the Mini18, I believe the maximum diameter is 3-1/4".
