Maple platter/plate

Hard Maple small platter or plate, 10 1/2" x 1 1/4", finished with Watco Butcher Block Oil and buffed. Mounted to a waste block with the bottom side turned first, then reversed and chucked in the recess to turn the top side.

Good looking platter Curt! Nice form! Really like the raised lip and the detail line. Hard to tell from the photo but is the line burned or cut?

Good workmanship! I would suggest that the base or foot be wider so as to reduce the tipping problem when it is in use.
