Another segmented platter

Here is my second attempt at a segmented platter. It is 17.5 inches in diameter and has 87 pieces of Birch, Maple, Walnut, Magnolia, Padauk, and Oak. This was the first time I have worked with Magnolia -- it's the six pieces on the outside of the outer layer of Padauk -- the heartwood is as dark as Walnut while the sapwood has a slight yellow tint.
