I have been in contact with Darrell Peart he makes a lot of Green and Green furniture and has a book out called GREENE AND GREEN: DESIGN ELEMENTS FOR THE WORKSHOP. He teaches a class on construction for this kind of furniture in California and Washington State. I am just checking to see if there is any interest in the area to have him come and do a one day class here in Michigan (Saginaw to be exact) cost would have to be determined and a final assessment made if it would be worthwhile for anyone who would may be interested, /final class size would be limited to about 10 to 15? And be hosted in my 1100 square foot woodworking shop. If there is any interest to possible having him come please respond to this posting and I will see if something might be able to be set up. It would be down the round a ways do to timing and putting something like this tougher .Darrell has already stated that he would be interested in doing a presentation in our area.. if you are interested please e-mail me your name and contact information so I can keep on record and keep you in the loop if it does produce into a seminar (woodtec@charter.net (woodtec@charter.net)) ….Here is Darrell’s web site to look at to see more about his furniture..
