Hello,
I'm going to be mounting my Rockler #1 router table top to the router table I'm making.
The top has melamine on both top and bottom.
I'm mounting it on a piece of 3/4" birch plywood.

What adhesive should I use?
Epoxy?
What type of screws should I use also?

The core of the top is MDF.

At the very least, you should scuff up the Melamine in the areas where you will be gluing it. I used Gorilla Glue to attach some support cleats to the underside of my Melamine Router Table Top, and then added some 3/4" screws as well. They have kept the tabletop flat and sturdy.

Why glue it at all? Just run some screws through the MDF into the top and you are done.I would use course thread pocket hole screws.

... and to add to what Scott said ... if you ever want to remove it, you can just remove the screws.

Titebond makes a melamine glue, though.

I've used Roo clear like titebond (wood to wood) when extended open time is required as well as for gluing non-like materials e.g. aluminum T track in a plywood fence. It's sold as water resistant-not water proof-and I haven't experimented with soaking joints. One part, no mixing, slow setting. Water cleanup when wet, DNA cleanup once dry. Seems like pretty handy stuff. The biggest problem is finding it; Woodcraft used to sell it but once Titebond came out with its melamine glue woodcraft stopped carrying Roo Glue.
