Can anyone give me the name of a brand of exterior grade primer? I know it is grey in color, but I don't know what it is called. Preferrably a brand that sells at HD. Thanks!

Is the can or the primer gray?
If you want gray-colored paint to go under a finish color, just have them tint your primer of choice.

When I learn how to spell it (sheesh)...grAy....
I don't necessarily want it gray....I have seen pictures of it being used...and it was gray.
The paint was gray. Never saw a can.

Closest thing I can think of would be Rustoleum metal primer, but I sorta doubt that's what you're talking about. You check out Benjamin Moore primer, although that's typically sold at hardware/paint stores.

Sherman Williams oil based exterior paint doesn't need a primer. This is for the porch floor paint.
