Couple Clocks

Hi,
I've been lurking on this site for a little while, and I joined just a week ago or so.
I've been attempting woodworking for about a year now when I can find the time
I don't really have a lot to show off, most of it is stuff based around practicing technique.
I do have a couple clocks I made that I think are worthy of being shared...

The top one is walnut and cherry (my first box joints), bottom is maple and purpleheart

Looks really nice. You did very well on your first box joints (better than mine turned out).
Are they your own design?

Thanks. I guess they are my own design. I didn't use a plan or anything like that.
