Anyone know where to buy 9" X 138-1/2" belts for an Grizzly G-9985 edge sander? I picked up the sander at Grizzly's tent sale last week. I ordered the parts that were missing at the sale. Today the UPS man delivered the parts, an hour later I got the sander up and running. The belt that came with the sander worked OK, but I could feel the splice every time it came around. My Ridgid OS uses 4" X 24" belts, I don't feel the splice with it. Is the bump from the splice normal, or do I need to find better belts?

I have done business with Supergrit over the past few years, very pleasant experience. They made my sanding belts for my PM 9x138", looks the same as the Griz. Well made belts.

I agree. Good quality belts with very smooth joints.

However I'll never buy psa discs from them again. When removed, the abrasive disk pulled off leaving the entire adhesive sandwich stuck firmly to the sander, which is exactly backwards to the way it's supposed to work and a real pain to remove. Essentially the plastic middle layer in the sandwich protected the remaining adhesive layer from the usual removal method (mineral spirits). Took an hour with a putty knife, elbow grease, and cussing to get it off. I'm guessing some newbie applied the adhesive backwards on the batch I got, but a no response to my e-mail, means no 2nd chance.

I bought belts from both Supergrit and Klingspor. Both good quality.
