Hey All,
Any Turners in the Western Arkansas or Eastern Oklahoma areas. I have a black walnut tree which has expired and fallen in my daughters front yard in Tahlequah Oklahoma. The tree is off the ground, measures about 30" at the base, 17' to the first branch and about 9' to the second branch. It is easily accessible from the street and faces a cul de sac.
I'll be back on Monday, drop me an email or message me and I'll give you the directions.
I've grabbed some of the smaller branches for pens etc.
Ed:)

Ed,
Might be some ninja woodturners, all dressed in black with heavily muffled chainsaws over there right now.

Seriously, a real turner always gets permission of course. Is there a nearby turning club? Tell them and they will come.

Ed,
You might want to contact the local AAW chapter in Tulsa as well. It would be a shame to let that wood go to waste! You are very generous to offer this up for fellow turners!
