Not yellow clear maple

Hello, All!

I am finishing maple hall table. I like the color it has unfinished, is there any way not to make it yellowish? I was planning to use waterbased poly but afraid that wood will turn yellow just by aging.

You can minimize color change from a finish by using a water borne product, but you cannot stop natural color changes in the wood over time. Nature of the beast...
