Any one do this? Rodney?
What type of aggregate do you use for glass?

The best abrasive is 180 grit silicon carbide. Aluminum oxide is cheaper, dirtier and creates static electricity which is a real nuisance. You'll probably have to buy 50 pounds.

Both are reusable many times.

Depending on what you are looking for I might try a little coureser medium. The silicone carbide is the right stuff - but it fractures as you use and reuse it thus getting finer and finer. I might start with 120 or 150. It does keep sharp as it wears so will last a long time in use.
