I managed to get in contact with a local Avocado Farm. Here is my bounty:

These are the cutoffs. I am not really sure what to do with them at the moment, but I didn't want them to rot on the hillside.

Nice Chris. When are you coming over again? Seriously, I wouldn't mind one of the larger pieces. I think I have ash to trade but that's about it.

I'll bring a bunch over and we can cut & seal some blanks. Keep the ones you want - I can get more. The cutoffs were meant to go to my dad's firewood pile, but he said he had too much already. Maybe they can be made into something useful. A few of them would make some pretty neat clock faces, but they have a bit of shake to them.
Anyone in North San Diego who wants some avocado, let me know and I'll set you straight. I might be getting some citrus wood soon enough too.

Thanks! I'm not sure where to start! I think I might try a couple NE bowls and rough out a few QS bowls. Time to get moving on my oland tool project....

Clearly you need to start with a guacamole bowl!;)
Nice haul, you should get lots of nice pieces out of it.

Not a bad idea!;) Maybe even a molcajete. I'm thinking three legs and a thick wall. Any suggestions for a pestle? Rock Maple?
