Well, bless her little heart, I know I married the right gal when she wants to make a trip to HD for Mother's Day. I suggested one slightly out of our normal circle of travels so I could scour for Ridgid tools on closeout. Sure enough, up in the rafters was the old black on white "RIDGID" gracing a 13" planer box with a $329 price tag on it.
Since LOML is a blond cutie and knows how to use it, she sent me packing so she could handle negotiations. We left with the NIB planer at the $149 closeout. Had I not come back after the tool guy had gotten it down, she probably would have had gotten him to load in the car and/or gotten a bigger discount.
I'll have to take that woman shopping more often:-)
