I had never tried lidded boxes before. I bought a Sorby hollowing tool and these were good practice. One of the benefits to turning is that practice is fun.....what do the flatwork folks practice-cutting straight lines?:D
They are all bradford pear from the same tree. It was damaged by one of the spring storms. 100 degree summers dried it out pretty good. They were fun to turn. BLO finish, unbuffed.
