Mortising jig

Hello, I am having one of those moments with my drill press mortising jig. The fence is too small in height for what I am doing and there are too many slots to do by hand. I need some advice or plans on how to build the perfect fence to fit the drill press. What I need (I think) is a fence that is at least 4” high with adjustable hold downs and maybe some way to set some stop blocks. Please help!

Dave, you might want to consider getting a cross-feed vise. They are very handy for drill press mortising as well as other drill press tasks.
