Here is another beech bowl that I turned. I don't have the exact measurements; however, it is about 12". The bowl was finished with antique oil and buffed.

Critiques on form, finish, and photography are welcome

Good looking bowl Tom! Nice form, size and finish! Photo is clear, color is good. About the only problem I can see is the actual size of your photo. Jpg are limited to 107.8 kb and we try to keep the pixel size down to around 800x600 or so - just to cut down on bandwidth.

Looks good from here Tom. I like the rim treatment. Picture looks good too. You might want to sharpen a bit and crop a little wider. I like to see a little more uniform negative space (as my artist friends call it) around the piece. Just OPO.

This is a nice bowl too Tom, though it's hard to beat the looks of the Birch bowl.
The only thing you could improve upon is setting your focus a little farther back, as the rearmost rim is a bit blurry, but that's a problem we all run into.
Still a like the looks and color you done good :-))
