Good Evening Everyone,

I joined this forum a couple of days ago, and thought I would introduce myself. I have been woodworking for about 7 years, and like most styles of furniture. I presently live in Knoxville, TN, moving from the Peoria, IL area about 5 months ago. I am 38 and married with two daughters and a step son. I have an interest in all types of woodworking, from cabinetry to marquetry. Some of projects I am most proud of are my shaker style workbench, a corner entertainment center, and a couple of marquetry boxes. One is a sewing box with some rose marquetry and a toolbox I made for myself. I'll post pictures if anyone is interested (and if I can figure out how). My shop time has been limited, but I now have a home with an unfinished basement and look forward to getting it wired and ready for woodworking.

I learned a lot from the folks at the pond and WoodCentral, and know I will learn a lot here.

Danny

Welcome, Danny. The Sawmill is new, but already much talent has gathered. You'll like it here. Nice people, much experience.

Add your knowlege to the mix.

Danny,

Welcome to the Creek. I know you'll enjoy hanging out around here. A lot of nice and talented people. I know you'll enjoy transforming that basement into a nice wood working shop. Keep us up-dated on the shop progress.

Hey Danny

Its nice to see you are finally on line. I have spoken to Jim a couple of times and he said you were struggling with it. How is your wife's broken leg? Has the traveling slowed down so you can set up a shop? Drop a line and fill me in.

Danny -

Welcome to the Mill. Pull up a log and start posting those pictures.

Some of us would rather have pictures than words anyway. :D :D :D

Glad to meet you,
Ted

Good to hear from you again! Welcome to the Creek! Are you going to make it up to Ray's End-O-Pond Picnic in April?

See ya 'rond the Creek,

Hey Danny,
Welcome...
My parents are living (retired) next door in Maryville. Maybe next time I visit I'll be able to come over and inspect your new shop. ;)

Hi Danny,
I was suprised to learn you've only been woodwork five years. I remember some of your project pictures from the pond and they were great. You must be one heck of a fast learner. Glad you made it here.
Take care,
