Has anyone here bought the 3 Wheel Penn State Buffing setup? It looks very similar to the 3 Wheel Beall Buffing System. Are there any differences other than the price? Thanks.

I would like some info also as I have been thinking about buying a system. The Beall wheels appear to have a metal hub and no stitching, while the PSI wheels have a row of stitching about half way out. Is that enough difference to matter?

I plan on buying a low speed motor or grinder rather than using the lathe, and the quick, tool-less wheel change on the Beall system is appealing.

Thom, you might want to consider a regular speed motor as speed is your friend when buffing.

I converted my 3 0n 3 system to just one buffer on a motor. The wheels on the 3 on 3 were too close together for buffing bowls.
I would recommend looking at the beall unit that uses the 1,750 rpm motor and the three individual buffing wheels.
I bought my motor off Ebay.
