Golden Plywood at BORG??

Just got back from my local Big Orange Retail Giant, had to get a sheet of maple ply. As I was checking out the racks of ply I noticed a new product,
3/4" "Golden Plywood". It kind of had a oaky grain to it.

What is golden plywood?

And don't tell me it comes from Golden trees.:D

It looks like either birch or maple veneer but look carefully at its sides; I believe it's Lauan core. I have used it before for economy, and I do notice it can be voidy.
