Segmented Leopardwood Box, no flat top and no finial. 85 pieces plus the lid and knob. Knob is Ebony. Finished with antique oil and buffed. 3-7/8" dia. x 4-1/2" tall. As always comments/critiques welcome.

Edit: Yep, there it is, and very pretty too. The segmenting creates a very interesting look. Is the top one piece?

Keith - I love it! Beautiful colors and form! I think this is the first segmented form I have ever seen where I can't see any joints! Your work continues to inspire! Thanks for posting!

Keith, your work is such an inspiration! The wood, if it didn't say it was segmented I'd never guess to even look for a glue line, as if you could see one. The form, what I picture in my mind but never seem to quite get. The finish, always perfect. And then the photography that makes you feel like you could reach out and hold it. And all done on a cheap foreign import lathe with just a Hilti gun!

Gorgeous! Your execution is outstanding. I really like how the wood doesn't seem buried under finish. Great piece!

amazing peice, the way the grain is, it almost doesnt look segmented

I agree with the above comments, you really have to look twice to see that it is segmented and not a block of wood.
