Very pretty little box Mike! Good form, great job on keeping the grain aligned! Red flocking is still a shock to me... but looks nice!

I have not tried any form of embellishment but I can see I am going to have to. Very nicely done. Yep the red is a shocker but I like it.

still trying to figure out how the spalting lines up so well even though it have a lip unde rthe lid---like the forrn as well---I hope to make something with a lid for my next progression

Mike, that's a great way to stick to your style (with the finial), but not take away from the wonderful material in the piece by using a different species for it. Outstanding!
