super figure in that bowl, Matt. Nice job with the buffing. I'll bet you can see your reflection! Beautiful bowl!

thats an amazing bowl1 great form and figure.

i know you didnt ask for crituqe, but if you look closley in the 2nd picture there are a big tear out, needs a little sanding or shear cutting or scraping

Good to point out the tear out. I saw it after it was done, and when I went back to try to fix it, the bowl wanted to slip out of the chuck. After my earlier funnel, I didn't want this guy to go flying :eek::). Maybe when I get a little more courage.

i know what you mean, i have quite a few that the guys on here didnt spot, but i did, i would love to go back and return them, but i dont think i could do it. either to thin, or the wood is so soft that i would get the same result.

not to be to picky, but you fixed the big spot, but there is still some on the right, and on the bottom left, in the new picture. just minor stuff. a lot better than some of the ones ive done
