Here is #7 which I finished yesterday.

After cutting billions of pieces (217 to be exact) and turning it, here is the result. The bricks are curly maple (although not as much as it seemed first) and the mortar is Jatoba. Wanted to try a different shape.
It's about 3/16" thick all around. Two coats of tung oil. Not a great photographer here (and it's cloudy outside right now).

The construction and turning are very nice. I like the color combinations of the maple and jatoba. I can't say that I am too fond of the overall shape though.

Mreza, I really like it. I especially like the contrasting size of the foot with the flared bell at the top. it kind of reminds me of a horn-o-plenty, or a 1920's style art deco piece. Very nice.

The shape is "different", but appealing to me.To my ametuer eyes the construction looks great!

Thanks to all for the kind words.
My wife too didn't expect this shape and was a bit surprised.

I really like the look of the inside of the bowl. Nice colors and overall shape although I'm not sure about the small foot. But that's just me, others will likely love it. Nice workmanship too.

Mreza - like some of the others - I'm not to sure about the shape but I do like your design, wood combination and finish. Joints all look good and the bowl appears to be fairly thin - so I imagine it is really light weight. While the foot seems to small for the bowl from a practical standpoint - it looks just fine when the piece is considered as art! Nice work!
