I came across this huge 3 stem Paper Birch stump the city had taken down in one of the parks, it didn't look to healthy but wasn't soft, so dragged it home and cut it up, the wood was stained and colored, but I roughed out several bowls from it, they have sat for a few years in my drying cabin, so decided to at least get one finished, didn't turn out too bad I think, the staining actually looks pretty good to my eyes.
All comments and replies appreciated :D

It is one of my joys in turning to find that kind of beauty hiding in a block of wood when I turn it. White , or paper birch is relativly plain and white most of the time. You have some treasure there. :D:D
