Shaker rail&stile bits with wider slot?

I hope to make some cabinet doors with veneered panels, using 1/4" mdf. The veneer increases the width of the panel a bit too much for the slot width on the shaker set I've got now. Is there a set that would work, or another solution? Thanks

Can you use 3/16" MDF, skin both sides to get back to 1/4"? Or pass 1/4" through a sander, drum or wide belt to make your thickness prior to adding veneer?

Another option is Amana's IN-Stile door bits. They have a shim kit and adjustable groove cutters that allow much flexibility in terms of panel slot.

The "best" way to deal with this is to shim the cutters to fit the panel thickness. But barring that, the next best option is to create a slight rabbet on the back of the panel edges leaving a "tongue" that fits the groove.

Here's the Freud solution. They adjust from 7/32" up to 3/8" and have opposing shear angles on the tongue cutters to make cleaner tenons:
