Have not been around for awhile. Been busy and not a lot of time to keep up with everything. Anyway I turned this Saturday. It is Hackberry with Ebony Lid and Final. Measures 6-1/2" diameter x 13" overall tall. Walls at 1/8" approx. Finished with antique oil and buffed. Comments/critiques always welcome.

Wow Keith! Beautiful hollow form! Impressive size! Love the grain and all of it's movement! The trademark finial looks even better being just a tad thinner! Good to see you posting! It was worth the wait!

Beautiful indeed! Also love the grain. Not sure about the "dome", but admire (and emulate) your finials.

Don't let him fool you, Keith is anything but "conventional" when he turns. Here he is about to "hammer out" another signature finial.......................

Nice form and wood on both the HF and the finial Keith, though they don't seem to have anything in common, to go together, just my thought on it :)

Wonderful piece, Keith, and that slim, slim, slim finial is the cat's meow! Nice!

I don't know how you do it Keith. Every piece you turn is a home run! As for the finial, I think it's a perfect exclamation point for a beautiul turning!

Very nice. Make me feel better though. Do you break a couple of those thin finials every once in a while or do they always come out perfect?
