With flat lid and "Burns" finial that was too small for O.S.#1. Elm, bald cypress, and some more of Robert's mesquite, about 12" tall o.a. Kind of an odd shape. Must have seen it somewhere. Comments/critiques welcome. Thanks for looking.

you are getting good at the open staves. i like this peice, kinda reminds me of a chess peice

Very interesting design on this one and it works! Very nice joints, color and finish! Looks like you've got this stave thing down pretty good!

Thanks for the nice comments guys. Finally remembered where I have seen this shape. Very embarrassing. It is a syrup bottle! Oh well, inspiration is where you find it. Best check the pantry to see what the next one will look like.

I think You've seen one too many Geico commercials "oooh the sound of glass breaking sends shivers down my bottle". Very nice piece. The woods you chose are very complimentary.
