Hello,
Does anyone know where I can find a big offset screwdriver? I need a large one, with a long handle, so that I have a lot of torque. I'm not looking for the small type that you'd use on a doorknob.
Thanks,
Louis

What about using a 1/4" drive socket and hex socket for the screwdriver bit? If you need something longer, use a long extension and universal joint adapter.

Auto supply houses stock impact screw drivers. If you can swing a hammer in your space, it may do the trick for you.

Would a drag link socket do?

I have a couple different size drag link sockets that I use on occasion. I have a small ratcheting screw drive that came with my 40 year old Craftsman tool set that comes in handy once in a while.

A 1/4 inch ratchet wrench and a screw driver bit works very well.

I looked at the photo of the Sears drag link sockets, but the screw that I'm trying to turn has a slot almost 1/2 inch long. Do you know whether that drag link socket has a long enough tip for that? I don't want to try to use a short length tip in such a long slot screw, because I won't be able to get the torque that I need with it.
Thanks,
Louis

Drag link sockets start about 1/2" wide and go to maybe 1-1/2". Size of socket and drive required will also get larger. Is space a problem?

No, space is not a problem. I'll look for the sockets.
