I am building a bank of drawers for a new desk for my home office.

It appears fairly easy to build a file drawer if you use pendaflex type files. I haven't used pendaflex before and I am wondering if it is well liked by those who have experience with it?

I need legal sized folders. Is there alternatives to pendaflex? I do want this made of wood with good drawer slides.

Input appreciated.

In my experience, pendaflex-style file folders are pretty much the standard. The only question is whether you build the drawers so that the folders hang directly on the drawer sides, or whether they hang on a separate frame which stands inside the drawer. I like the former, but the latter may be easier to build.

I like pendaflex folders. I think the typical design when using pendaflex frames is to build it so they accommodate letter size one way and legal the long way...
