I may need help with a large order coming my way and am curious if any Creekers in the Los Angeles area are looking for work. The job involves cutting 5,000 to 10,000 1/8" acrylic pieces. Each piece takes about 1.5 minutes and the overal size is 12" x 8". If you do the math, it comes to weeks of laser time.
And yep, this is the job I brought up earlier. The deadline is creeping up and the processes prior to cutting are taking more time than they should.
I also need an edge polisher for the same job. Lasering is too slow. Flaming doesn't cut it because of the prior sanding needed.
