Can anyone suggest an appropriate glue/epoxy to use for attaching a 1/2" sheet of PVC inlay onto Alder for a desk I'm building?

silicone adhesive. plastic hard to glue to and having a material that will move a lot a flexible bond is the best you can go for. I like e6000. its about the same as the goop thats recommended but better and costs less. instead of 5.99 a large tube 6.99 gets you a caulking tube. spray adhesive will work well too.

Steve...from the same website, E6000 is another name for the "Goop" group....

goop comes in the smaller tubes. e6000 is a far better deal. Plus like I said it comes in different thicknesses too and uv rated. What I really like about it is it keeps for a long time after you open it. silicone dries fast but the e6000 can go months and you just remove the hard stuff in the end. I thin kthe borg now carries it but I can't remember for sure.
but for 1.00 more you get about 3 times as much.
