Powermatic 3520B Lathe size?

I am looking at the specs and it says it is 75”-long by 27” deep.

Is 75"l ong with the motor sticking ou the end? I am trying to figure out the minimum gurage space I need to store it. Can I slide the moter in and it be smaller when I am not using it? how short does it go I just measured 75" where it needs to go and it is quite long.

You might want call up the Woodcraft in Allentown, PA. It's about an hour from you (it's the closest Woodcraft to me as well), and they have a Powermatic lathe in their classroom. I think that one is a 3520B.

The bed on mine is about 50 1/8". With the motor pushed in more more than 51" total length.
