Anyone have experience with the grizzley circular saw for the times you have to take the tool to the job?

I've never used the Griz CS, and I like alot of their machinery, but that type of tool is not typically Grizzly's strong suit IMO. See what advantages it offers over the local competition before jumping into it. Or I can't help but wonder if one of these (http://www.reconditionedsales.com/search.aspx?q=circular%20saw) is a better choice overall.

The stamped steel base would make it a non-starter for me. They flex and bend too easily. I'd want heavy steel or cast alloy base frame even for a knock-around saw. Also check that the switch is comfortable and doesn't have a safety interlock that requires 3 thumbs to operate - typical of homeowner models, but a feature you'll grow to hate.
