First Bowl Red Elder

I got some blanks from ebay 3"x6" red elder. I have 2 others to do yet hope I get a little better I can only hope . Finding them to be fun. I also am putting a pic of my hollowing tool that my freind made for me. :D

Nice looking hollowing tool! The carbide cutters work great!

Have fun with it but be advised - bowls and hollow forms can become addictive!

Thanks Steve going to try to stick with HSS bits easier to sharpen. Yes I have all my turnings on record here on my computer. I did notice that in pen turning also got better with time and just as addictive. Did the bowl to take a break from the pens.
