A friend recently gave me a DW 610 router he had without the base. I am having trouble locating a replacement base. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

89192-01 (javascript:open_window('http://www.toolpartsdirect.com/cgi-bin/parttools.cgi/89192-01');) this is the dewalt part number for that base. There is one in stock on tool parts direct .com. I don't believe that links are allowed, so just put those words together and you will have it. Also if you can find an older Black and Decker 610, it is the same router. This machine was usually grey and orange, or black and grey.

The Dewalt 610 was similar to the PC 690 in that it has been around for many years basically unchanged from the old model with the Black and Decker label and with different horse power.
If you watch ebay you can usually find one fairly cheap, and may find just a base there as well.
As mentioned, new parts for these are still available. I recently purchased parts for mine at the Dewalt service center.
