I saw Mikes post below about being published and just had to brag on my wife Cindy. She got her first book published this week (Romance novel) I think it's actually tame compared to some. :)

Congratulations. I'll bet its tame compared to the ones that a woman I used to work with writes. It was quite the scandal when word spread around the office.

Wow! Okay, so post the title or PM me so we can start buying that puppy and making her some money! That is so cool. Congrats to Cindy. Having her first book published must be a really exciting time. There are people who would argue that Romance novels have no merit but I disagree completely! It is very difficult to write the dialogue, and skirt that line between sexy, but not porn. Also you guys would be surprised how much romance on the home front is inspired by a little reading.:) (or maybe you wouldn't).

Lucky you, Sean. She's smart, she's beautiful, and she obviously loves you. I'll be buying a copy.

Congrats to Cindy...and to you.

I understand what it takes to support those who do things they love for a living. It's too cool.

Glenn, not to hijack Sean's thread, but I missed your news apparently. Congrats to HerDeanShip. While I'm sure this is fascinating reading, I'm guessing it's a little over my head. I'll give it a shot though if you want to give me the name of the publishing journal.

And kudos to both of you guys for supporting your wives and allowing them to become who they need to be.

Clara,

I believe it's called "Second Chances" as per the earlier link to Cindy's web site.
