1st Segmented Turning

Sorry about putting this in 2 post. Hit a wrong button. Anyway this is the first project off the lathe except for 3 or 4 cheesey ornaments. For the first real project I'm kinda happy with it despite its many faults. Reason I'm posting it is so maybe some of you with more experience can tell me what kind of tool should be used to turn the inside of the neck. It is about 2 3/4" on the inside. Manage to do a fair job on the rest of the inside while it was in 2 pieces but lost all nerve when I got to that. I had my fair share of problems with this thing. Busted thru on the bottom feature ring so I added 2 more segments and managed to turn it then had to redo the top ring to get the same number of points. Proud, Proper Planning:mad:. Anyway for the first time on a lathe in over 30 years - what the heck, it was fun and when wood work quits being fun then its time to close shop.
