Is this a good deal?

I'm in the market for a laser engraver,I think it will compliment my CNC work.
I've been shopping machines (Epilog or Universal) and comparing features, reputation and prices.
I've watched this listing on Ebay and I'm thinking this is a good deal and I'm wondering why this hasn't sold? I'm new to lasers so I value any input.

Probably because his "Buy it now" price is essentially that of a new machine. You can purchase the next bigger size machine, 24x18, at the same wattage for $15,500... and it will have a brand new warranty and zero use.

I don't know about the price, but I can tell you that a cnc router and a laser together are a killer combination. They compliment one another perfectly, as both can do things the other can't. I can also say that if your looking at Epilog you won't go wrong there.

Pass that one up.

Go to one of the distributors or mfgs and ask about used machines. Most are good about refurbishing. I know someone got a good deal on the Mini24 we traded in on our Legend.
