White Box

Hi Creekers,
Well, I thought I got rid of the white box on a graphic but when I upload it to the top of a website it shows up again. Any thoughts?

When you are saving the graphic as a JPG or GIF change the backgroud to "Transparent".

Sorry to correct you Guy, but JPEGs don't support transparency. GIFs and PNGs do.

PNG is the way to go, GIF is old technology.

PNG is a good way to go, but is a bigger file than a comparative GIF or JPG. The best way to do it is still a JPG, but with the background colour changed to match your website.
