Jack,
Nice, what was the response? A happy little girl I hope. What materials did you use? Andalso, what was the paint? I may be making a similar shelving unit for my little guy this fall. (Right now it's a sandbox and swing set)

As far as manly - you're being a dad, what's more manly than that. :D

That's really cute, Jack! Perfect for what appears to be the need, too. Great job!

"Manly" is right, as you are da MAN! And I'll bet da MAN made one little girl real, real happy! :D (Now, if you were building one of those for your shop, I might have a few questions.... ) Nice job on both pieces, Jack!

A very happy little girl she was. The dollhouse is about 97% MDF, and the table is all pine with a chunk of Melamine for the top. Most of the paint was hobby paint, but for the Pink, I found a quart of mistinted Behr paint at HD for $1.

Well I think being good to our little girls is very manly! I am sure she was very thrilled.

Was that dollhouse from the plans in Wood Magazine from a couple of months back? I would like to build something similar if I can ever get the basement done

It was from the plans in Wood Magazine a couple of months back. I am not the most creative person in the world, but I am pretty good at following a recipe.

Nice Jack, your first offical projects have now been posted (can't count shop focosed projects), I am sure Annie loves them. Waht's on the agenda for Jake? :D

Hi Jack,

Very nice job! I need to get the paint on the PB Kids shelves I made from looking at the catalog.

Jim,

The shelves for the garage you use the castle top! ;)
