I recently finished this cherry burl natural edge bowl and decided to post a shot of it. It looks very similar to one that I previously posted but is slightly larger at around 8" in diameter.

There is no foot and the curve continues all the way through the bottom. I just love turning this stuff.

Comments and critiques welcome.

This is a really nice NE!!!

Great curve and the uneven rim really sets it off.

Personally, I prefer these immensly over your banjo's and teapots!:D

Great color! That's the first thing that hit me was the rich color! Love the contrast between the smoothness of the form and the rough natural edge! Has a very 'organic' feel to it and makes me think of a shell from a dinosaur egg! Yup, maybe a little too much coffee this morning!

Very nice burl Raymond! Great photo! Always look forward to seeing what you turn next!

Raymond.....You and cherry to turn.....You did a wonderful job with it. Of all the pieces I've turned....that cherry you sent me .....is the most beautiful piece of wood I've turned to date. Nicely done Raymond....as we have come to expect from you!
