From your previous posts, I am guessing that you are going from Hawaii to Las Vegas to buy wood. It seems like you would just go to the casinos and win a bunch of money and then go back to Hawaii to buy the best wood with your winnings! :D

http://woodworkersemporium.com/ has two stores, one in Las Vegas and one in Henderson. They specialize in Vicmarc lathes and chucks. I suspect they also have slot machines available. .....Ron

I forgot to mention that Jimmy Clewes lives in Vegas now. I talked to him back in January and he was going to set up a school there but haven't heard anymore. His website: http://jimmyclewes.com/

The website still shows him in England but you can e-mail him through the website and find out if he has anything going during the time-frame of your visit......Ron

Take a 6 1/2 hour drive up I-15 to Craft Supplies in Provo, Utah. It's kind of the Mecca of the woodturning world and a pretty nice drive too. The leaves will be changing and maybe even a little snow on the peaks.

But, they aren't open on Saturday or Sunday!
