I'm looking at the Freud raised panel set and see there is a set with a back-cutter on the raised panel bit.
Can this back-cutter be removed so that the bit can be used without it?
For example I want to use the same bit to route the edges of drawer-fronts.
Thanks,
jeff

Jeff -

I got the Freud Ogee 97-210.

Just ran out to the shop, put a socket on it and it came off.

Your good to roll!

basically, you take off the cutter from one and the bearing of the other. Then swap them with a washer between.

Good for making rail and stile with glass instead of panels (aka rabbet)
