Well the lathe is finally on a stand made of 2 square tubing. I have played some with the lathe and new tools. I am still waiting for the chuck to come from PSI.

The stand is really heavy and has room for several bags of sand/concrete on the bottom.

The shop remodel is going very slow as momma had to have new flooring and a kitchen countertop. Can't complain as there always seems to be new tools needed for those honey-dos.

I have the same lathe and bought the stand from General. I think you will like that one much better. Congrats!
